The weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders. I feel like I can breathe again. I feel like Karma is coming back around. I feel like my kids have seen, and studied, how to resolve tough situations the right way. I feel a new faith in myself. Our family has a new faith in each other.
The court saw fit to grant me SOLE CUSTODY!
Now, I could easily dwell on the fact that our abuser was a no show to custody court. That once again anything important to us is a non-priority to him. That his contempt for us and the court system is so apparent. That his lies and deception continue. However:
IT DOESN’T MATTER.
His actions, from the very beginning, even prior to The Shattering, have dictated this was the only outcome that could happen. My willingness to whatever is necessary to protect my children has made it impossible for him to continue to play power fueled games. Our healing is making it much easier for us to speak out.
The truth is coming out.
The truth shall set us free.
The truth is beautifully savage.
The truth, is never punishable by law. The truth mandates that evidence exists. The truth cannot be ignored. The truth screams for decent consequences to be served.
We know our truth, and the stronger we get the more we are willing to talk about it. The more we feel like our story can help others who suffer. The more comfortable we get with the fact that we are not what has happened to us. We are, entirely, who we are. Unique and perfectly flawed. The people that we are is shown in our reactions to our suffering. Our ability to not only stop it, but find desire to help others who share in our struggles.
To all our supporters we cannot thank you enough. Your love and dedication has been felt near and far. We love you, we see you, we support your truths.
To the people that we lost along the way; we think of you often. We wish things had been different, but we understand you weren’t ready for our truth. Maybe you were blinded by lies and deceit. Maybe you just couldn’t wrap your head around it. Maybe you had your own issues you were working on. We understand. We miss you.

While coding or HTML is never bad experience to have, WordPress.com has an easy guide and prefabricated layouts. Check them out and see if there is anything you think you’d like. My site has a couple custom options, although, they are probably over doing it.
